Itinerary

Your Itinerary

  • Day 01 Uncover the history of the Red Light District

    Card image

Welcome to Amsterdam. An airport transfer will drive you into the city, where you’ll check into your hotel. Meet your fellow travellers and guide over a welcome drink, before heading out to explore the city streets. Your walking tour will begin in the famed Red Light District (one of Amsterdam’s oldest quarters) where you’ll learn about the neighbourhood’s shadowy history, uncovering a fascinating backstory unbeknown to many tourists. Continuing in this historical vein, you’ll then dine in a nearby restaurant in the 17th-century canal district.

  • Day 02 Canal adventures & trendy city sights

    Card image

Having explored Amsterdam’s streets by foot, you’ll now adopt a new perspective: from your canal as you glide down its canals. Spend your morning cruising beneath picturesque bridges and charming streets, before hopping back onto dry land to explore Jordaan – a district known for its working-class roots, radical politics and stylish bars. Weave your way through trendy Jordaan on a walking food tour (local cheeses and sugar-dusted pastries are to be expected). Then, as evening falls, board a canal boat for a leisurely sunset cruise, with pizza and beer to see your group into the night.

  • Day 03 Country cycling & historical windmills

    Card image

Take advantage of a free morning to do as you please (perhaps needed after exploring Amsterdam’s famed nightlife). Then, gather with your group at midday for an e-bike adventure through the Dutch countryside. With its 17th-century windmills, wooden villages and winding rivers, experience the scenic beauty that the Netherlands is famed for. Your biking foray will take you to a nearby microbrewery, located in a converted 19th-century warehouse. Your introduction to the processes of craft beer will be followed by an exclusive tasting, before returning to Amsterdam for a final dinner.

  • Day 04 Amsterdam, at your own pace

    Card image

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and make your own way to the airport. If you’re looking to extend your European escape, take a look at our France itinerary, which will see you travel from Paris to Nice in 8 days.
