What happened to The Flash Pack LTD

Sadly, COVID had a devastating impact on the business.

Travel was hit hard, but group trips with solo travellers were hit particularly badly.

We had boot-strapped Flash Pack from a back-bedroom startup in 2015 with 20k savings, in to a multi award winning travel company who sent 9000 Flashpackers away in 2019.

Boot-strapping our business meant that we were undercapitalised and had no investors to turn to during COVID. We fell through the cracks of all government support so we were forced to reset the business, via  administration (bankruptcy) in Nov 2020 to enable our customers to claim a refund.

The Flash Pack LTD has now been liquidated and therefore Flash Pack Travel LTD is a brand new company.

After the business went into administration we were able to purchase back the assets by re-mortgaging our home meaning that we can operate under the Flash Pack brand. 

Our founders worked tirelessly for a year to help customers get their money back and they managed to buy back Flash Pack by remortgaging their home, meaning we can now trade under the same name.

We are now backed by the biggest private investment firm in Europe so we can ride out any future wave of COVID

It’s true that COVID put a stop to things for us, but it also gave us time to obsess over Flash Pack’s adventures.

With the help of our guides and years of feedback and data, we have fine-tuned and perfected every one of the adventures you can book today.
