There’s a quotation from Turkey’s 13th-century poet Mevlana Rumi that says: ‘one candle doesn’t lose anything from its light by giving light to the others’. That’s how I feel about guiding. I feel happier than ever sharing my country with others. It gives me an opportunity to meet amazing people from all around the world and learn about their lives and experiences, as well as share my own. My favourite part of Flash Pack’s Turkey adventure is taking people to Cappadocia and seeing them amazed by its cave formations, its nature, its history and its adventures.

Turkey has been a crossroads throughout history because it’s a passage between Europe, Asia and the Middle East. It’s authentic – and full of surprises. I love how diverse my country is. Turkey is like a geographical mosaic so when you travel to one part of it, it’s completely different than your next destination.
