I was born and raised in Vietnam, and I’ve been a guide for almost 20 years. I’ve tried other jobs, but when I’m outside and on tour, that’s when I become myself. I love interacting with Flashpackers and showing them my country, particularly the quieter areas like Hoi An.

I think I enjoy guiding Flashpackers because the age range is perfect for me. Everyone is open-minded, similar, the dynamic is always great. It’s exactly the sort of people I love to show my country to, and I don’t feel like I’m working.

Vietnam should be on everyone’s bucket-list if they’ve not been. You need to experience the hospitality of our people, the food and how beautiful and unique it is, for yourselves.
