FAQs

Which airport do I need to fly in and out of? Plus airport code

Fly into and out of Alicante International Airport (ALC). While Alicante in the nearest, Valencia Airport (VLC) is also an option.

What time should my flight arrive (time for the welcome meeting)?

Ideally by 2pm if flying into Alicante, or 1pm if Valencia. The welcome meeting will be from 4pm onwards.

What treatments are included?

You’ll have three treatments included with your stay. These include Ayurvedic massages, as well as energy therapies such as kinesiology and biomagnetism.

What time should my flight depart on the last day?

The retreat concludes with a gentle closing circle after breakfast from 11–11:30am.

To enjoy the full experience, we recommend booking flights departing:

  • From 3pm onwards if flying out of Alicante (ALC)
  • From 4pm onwards if flying out of Valencia (VLC)

If you prefer to leave earlier, that’s absolutely possible – just note that you may miss part of the final morning, including the closing circle.

Departure transfers are not included but can be arranged directly with the retreat team during your stay (payable locally).

Are airport transfers included?

Yes – arrival transfers on Day 1 are included from both Alicante (ALC) and Valencia (VLC).

Transfers are private to Flash Pack and shared with your group based on arrival times, so there may be a short wait..

Arriving early and booking your own pre-night in Alicante or Valencia? No problem. We can arrange your Day 1 transfer from your hotel in Alicante or Valencia. Just share your hotel name and check-out time in advance so we can organise everything smoothly.

Departure transfers are not included but can be arranged directly with the retreat team during your stay (payable locally).

Are tips included?

Please note that tips are not included in the cost of this trip, and aren’t mandatory at the retreat. That said, there is a tip box at the retreat which is shared amongst the staff, should you wish to leave one. Your Pack Leader will be able to advise on how much, however, all tips are at your discretion depending on what you feel comfortable with.

Do I need a visa?

Up-to-date visa and entry information can be found using our official partner, Sherpa, who can help you arrange a visa if needed.

You can also find essential travel advice – including security and local laws, as well as passport and visa information – on the government website of your home country:

Please be aware that passport and visa requirements can change before departure, so it’s important to stay updated with the latest information.

What vaccinations and medication will I need?

While we are not medical professionals and cannot offer personalized medical advice, we want to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable trip. Here are some tips to help you prepare.

1. Consult with a healthcare professional

We recommend scheduling an appointment with your travel nurse or doctor at least eight weeks before your trip. This will give you ample time to receive any necessary vaccines or medications.

2. Up-to-date medical advice

3. Government travel advice

4. Medication tips

If you take prescription medication, ensure you bring enough to last the entire adventure, plus a few extra days in case of travel delays. Carry a copy of your prescription with you in case you need to visit a clinic while abroad.

We hope this information will help you prepare for a safe and healthy adventure.

Will room matching still be possible on this tour?

Room matching will be more limited on this retreat due to the different room categories available at the retreat.

That said, many guests still choose to share, and everyone joining this journey tends to be traveling for similar reasons – to reset, reconnect and experience something meaningful. It’s a like-minded crowd.

As always, rooms are only shared between guests of the same gender.

If having your own space is important to you, we’d recommend booking a single room early, as availability is limited.

How much should I budget per day for extras?

All activities and meals mentioned on this escape are included, so you’ll just need to budget for any extra treatments you may like, and drinks other that tea/water.

Are any activities weather-dependent?

Only the guided hike is weather-dependent. If conditions aren’t suitable, it’ll be replaced with an indoor workshop in the dome.

All other sessions take place indoors, so the overall flow of the retreat continues smoothly whatever the weather.

Will we have a Pack Leader on this trip?

Yes – you’ll have a dedicated Flash Pack Pack Leader, just like on our classic adventures, with a slightly lighter-touch role to suit the wellbeing setting.

They’re based at the retreat throughout your stay, offering a calm, reassuring presence. Think less “follow me” and more “I’m here when you need me” – keeping communication clear, supporting the group dynamic, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Who leads the wellbeing sessions?

Sessions are led by experienced, carefully selected wellbeing practitioners, including yoga teachers, breath-work facilitators, meditation guides and sound practitioners.

All have extensive experience working with international, English-speaking guests and are chosen for their warm, grounded and inclusive approach. Facilitators may rotate throughout the week depending on the session.

What can I do during free time?

Free time is intentionally unstructured.

Relax by the pool, unwind in the Turkish bath, walk in the surrounding mountains, read in a quiet corner, or book an optional massage or therapy. This retreat is designed to give you space – how you use it is completely up to you.

Is the property exclusive to Flash Pack guests?

Yes. During your stay, the farmhouse is reserved entirely for your Flash Pack group, creating a private, intimate retreat where you can fully switch off and settle into the experience without outside guests.

What facilities are available? Is there Wi-Fi or phone signal?

The retreat features a swimming pool, Turkish bath, massage rooms, a purpose-built dome for sessions, gardens, communal lounges and peaceful mountain surroundings.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Mobile signal can be patchy due to the remote location, and some sessions are intentionally device-free to help you properly switch off.

Is alcohol available?

Yes – alcohol is available to purchase.

That said, this is a wellbeing-focused retreat, so we encourage mindful drinking. Some programmes recommend avoiding alcohol to get the most out of the experience, and we suggest attending sessions alcohol-free to support focus and clarity.

What will the food be like?

Meals are macrobiotic-inspired and thoughtfully prepared to feel both nourishing and satisfying.

The menu is largely plant-based, with occasional fish, and avoids refined sugars. Dietary requirements, allergies and intolerances can all be catered for when shared in advance, and a variety of plant-based milks are always available.

Is this a phone-free trip?

Our wellbeing  trips are designed to help you be fully present without banning technology or creating anxiety.

Throughout each journey, there are gentle, clearly marked moments where guests are invited to put their phones away during shared experiences and meals. Participation is always optional, but strongly encouraged, as these phone-free windows are where the real magic tends to happen.

You’ll still have access to your phone at designated times each day, and can reach loved ones whenever needed. For unforgettable moments, your Pack Leader and a dedicated Flashpacker will capture photos for the group so you can stay in the moment without missing the memory. Additionally, guests who love photography are encouraged to bring a DSLR or digital camera.

Will the itinerary change?

Please be aware that the itinerary, activities, and hotels are subject to change. These changes can happen with little notice due to availability, poor weather, seasonal changes, or other circumstances beyond our control – but we’ll always do our best to ensure it has little impact on your experience. From time to time, we may also make changes to your itinerary to try out new ideas and keep things fresh and exciting.
