Finland Group Tours for Solo Travellers

Travel solo as part of a group tour to Finland

Why travel solo to Finland?

Deep pine forests, shimmering lakes and aurora-lit skies create a rare wilderness in Finland that revitalises like few other places in Europe.

On a group solo trip in Finland, you’ll feel the shifting intensity of nature. Summer is the season of the midnight sun, where limitless sunshine brings life to expansive lakes and woodlands.

Go in winter to discover another world entirely: one of the snow-white forests, frozen lakes and silent wilderness. When the Northern Lights make an appearance, you’ll know true magic is happening.

Next, venture into the heart of Lapland on a sleigh ride pulled by huskies, master cross-country skiing through pure snow and gather around a campfire after nightfall with newfound friends to experience the raw beauty of Finland’s Arctic wilderness.

We have two winter adventures to this magical world. Finland’s Secret Island is your ultimate, bucket-list, snowy escape where you’ll stay on your own private aurora island complete with private chef. Looking for something a little more low-key but still incredibly magical? Our Winter Finland adventure, featuring huskies and snowmobiles, might just be the one for you.

Top places to visit in Finland

Helsinki

Finland’s capital is located on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland. A laidback city that prides itself on its sustainability and green ethos, Helsinki is also a design lover’s delight thanks to its smart, colourful architecture and cucumber-cool collection of galleries, boutiques and interior shops.

Rovaniemi

If you want to visit the “official” hometown of Santa Claus, head to Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland in northern Finland. From early June to early July you can experience the midnight sun, while a trip to Arktikum, a museum and science centre, will help you explore the Arctic region and history of Finnish Lapland.

Muonio

This town is located in northern Finland, above the Arctic Circle. Head to the banks of the Muonio River for some of the cleanest air in the world. Its pollution-free skies make for one of the best spots to see the Northern Lights. From here, you can grab some skis or hop on a trip into the Finnish wilderness.

Torassieppi

Torassieppi is in the heart of Finnish Lapland and the perfect destination for winter sports. From ice-fishing and snow-shoeing to snowmobile adventures, this small area of Finland is a winter wonderland.
