FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR SPAIN ADVENTURE:

When it comes to Spain, most of the time you’ll find the cheapest flights going to Madrid and Barcelona. Anything else needs a patient price watcher. For Malaga, we’ve seen fares under $450 return from the USA, but today we’ve found the best is $486 return from NYC.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR PORTUGAL ADVENTURE:

One swirl of a glass (and a window seat) transports you to a golden roofed city stacked with history, hugging the banks of the Douro. Flying with SWISS will usually mean a better in-flight experience compared to TAP. On the other hand, TAP do mean non-stop flights when the dates and prices align, which is a perk we always say yes to. Portugal has a low cost of living, so any extra days you add to your time in the country won’t stretch your budget too much.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR NORTHERN ITALY ADVENTURE:

Since most tourists make a beeline straight for Rome or Florence, flying to Milan is a savvy way to save money. Plus, it has lots of non-stop flights from New York – you can’t beat that convenience, and these flights that match up with September-October tours are as cheap as they get. Give yourself a few extra days before your tour to see the cities of Bergamo, Brescia, and Verona, near Milan. They’re all extremely underrated.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR SOUTHERN ITALY ADVENTURE:

Your Southern Italy adventure ends in Bari, a town that only has a tiny airport with short-haul flights around Europe. If you’re flying in from the US, going back to Rome is the cheapest way home. Luckily, you can just hop on a high-speed train from Bari. It’ll only cost you about $10 if you book over a month ahead.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR GREECE ADVENTURE:

It’s much easier to fly to Athens from the USA than it is to find direct flights to lush Greek islands like Santorini. The good news is that a quick flight to Athens from the islands can be found for as little as $20 with low-cost carriers. We’ve checked that these itineraries give you enough time to get back to the capital after you say your farewells. What’s more, Turkish Airlines is a full-service airline – that means checked bag included.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR COLOMBIA ADVENTURE:

These flights to Colombia might not be the cheapest they’ve ever been, but they are about as good as we’ve seen since the start of the pandemic, which threw the whole flight market out of whack. With one exception, most of our suggestions that leave from L.A. and San Francisco arrive and depart from Bogotá, meaning back there from Cartagena after your tour. The most convenient option is a domestic flight – about $30 on average with Avianca or Wingo. We’ve left you enough time to do that, but we wouldn’t blame you if you shift that return flight a few days later to really savor Cartagena.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR SLOVENIA & CROATIA ADVENTURE:

For trips from New York, the bus between Zagreb and Ljubljana takes about 2.5 hours and costs roughly $30, so it’s easy to bounce back for your flight home. Turkish Airlines are the only airline that include checked luggage out of these below, but you can mentally add around $120 to the price to add one with other airlines.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR TURKEY ADVENTURE:

You’re definitely not short on options for flights to Turkey from the U.K., with a number of different airlines flying non-stop to multiple cities throughout the year. In fact, the introduction of 3 new routes from Wizz Air this month may actually prompt the other airlines to keep their costs down in order to compete. All the flights above are open-jaw, meaning you’ll arrive in Izmir and then depart from Istanbul.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR MOROCCO ADVENTURE:

There are quite a few airlines that fly to Morocco from the U.K., however they mostly arrive in Marrakesh. Currently, only Royal Air Maroc flies non-stop to Casablanca from London, so if you’re looking to save money, we would suggest opting for a round trip to Morocco. These flights arrive at least one day before the start of the tour, this allows comfortable time to hop on one of the hourly trains from Morocco for £14 and arrive in Casablanca in under three hours.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR SPAIN ADVENTURE:

Fares under £80 are decent from London when you’re looking for specific dates, considering how popular the south of Spain is in the summer. Keep in mind that if you want to have a cabin bag at no extra cost, British Airways is your best bet, as usual. With low-cost airlines like Vueling & easyJet, you’ll always have to add one.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR PORTUGAL ADVENTURE:

No surprise that low-cost airlines come in with the cheapest fares for sunny summer escapades in Portugal. The catch with easyJet and Ryanair of course is that you’re paying extra for the cabin bag. TAP generously throws that in for the price, making them better value than they may seem at first. You also save a few extra pounds if you make a (free) account with them. Thanks to all the competition from London you do get lovely low fares for flights that line up just about perfectly with Flash Pack tour dates.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR JORDAN ADVENTURE:

Until recently, Londoners looking to jet off to Jordan had no choice but to pay higher prices to fly with British Airways or Royal Jordanian. Thankfully, Wizz Air have thrown their hats into the ring and made it much more affordable, sometimes around 75% cheaper. The below are late flights, so you’re best to arrive a night or two before the tour starts. That also means you get most of a day extra in Amman at the end.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR  SOUTHERN ITALY ADVENTURE:

London does have flights to take you home from Bari, but when the date you’re looking at is more expensive than you expect, get creative. Naples, Rome, Pescara & Brindisi are all easily reached with high speed train and could be much cheaper for your return flight.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR GREECE ADVENTURE:

It’s lucky for Londoners that Greece isn’t so far away and that loads of airlines fly there so you can pick and mix to get that ideal itinerary. Keep in mind that with Jet2, British Airways & Aegean Airlines your cabin bag comes included.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR SLOVENIA & CROATIA ADVENTURE:

Slovenia is a beautiful country, but few airlines compete on the route from the UK, making it more expensive than most. Luckily, an easy way to keep costs down is to fly to Venice instead. It’s only 3.5-4 hours from Ljubljana by bus, and you get to give yourself a bit of gondola time before meeting up with the pack.

FLIGHTS TO MATCH OUR NORTHERN ITALY ADVENTURE:

Milan is usually cheaper to fly into than any other Italian city, mostly because international tourists make a beeline straight for Rome or Florence.
